IBPS SO Mains Admit Card 2026

About this call letter

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has released the Online Main Exam Call Letter for the Common Recruitment Process for Specialist Officers, CRP SPL-XVI, for vacancies of 2027-28. The call letter was listed on 22 October 2026 on the IBPS Specialist Officers page. This is the mains stage call letter: it is for candidates who have come through the preliminary stage of the same recruitment, and it is the document that admits you to the main examination. No call letter is sent by post; it has to be downloaded from the IBPS website.

Exam date, with the official wording

The IBPS notice dated 22 October 2026 states that the Online Main Examination is expected to be conducted on 1 November 2026. That word, expected, matters: the notice does not present 1 November as a final, unchangeable date, so candidates should treat it as the planned date and re-check the IBPS Specialist Officers page before the exam for any change. The call letter itself will carry the final reporting time, centre and shift for each candidate, and those details on your own call letter override any general date announcement.

How to download

Go to the IBPS website and open the Specialist Officers XVI section, where the 22 October 2026 call letter entry is listed. Open the Online Main Exam Call Letter link, then log in with the credentials you used at registration. Download the call letter as soon as it is available, rather than leaving it to the exam morning, and print it clearly. If the login does not work, check that you are using the registration number or roll number and the password or date of birth exactly as registered, and use the password recovery route on the IBPS site rather than a third-party link.

What to check on the call letter

Check your name, photograph and signature against your photo identity document, and check the exam date, reporting time, centre address and the instructions printed on the call letter. Any mismatch in name or photograph should be raised through IBPS channels before the exam day, because entry can be refused if the call letter and the identity document do not match. Carry the printed call letter and the same original photo identity document whose details match the call letter, and follow only the instructions printed on your own call letter for what else to bring.
