State Bank of India has published the next stage update for the Special Recruitment Drive for SC, ST and OBC backlog vacancies of Junior Associates (Customer Support and Sales) under Advertisement No. CRPD/CR/SPLDRIVE/2026-27/16 dated 7 August 2026. This is the backlog drive only, with 1,538 vacancies — SC 207, ST 1,219 and OBC 112 — and it is distinct from the regular Junior Associate drive (Advt. No. CRPD/CR/2026-27/17), for which only a Preliminary Examination call letter was visible on the SBI careers page, with no result link.

Preliminary examination marks

The Preliminary Examination for the backlog drive was held in September 2026. The mains examination call letter download link is marked as new on the SBI careers page for this drive, and the notice states that the online Mains examination is scheduled on 29 October 2026. Candidates shortlisted from the Preliminary Examination should download the mains call letter from the SBI careers page and follow the instructions given in it.

Eligibility recap

Online registration for this drive ran from 7 August 2026 to 27 August 2026. The age limit is not below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 1 April 2026, that is, candidates born not earlier than 2 April 1998 and not later than 1 April 2006, both days inclusive, with relaxations as stated in the detailed advertisement.
