UKSSSC Group C Exam 2026 postponed — no revised date yet

The Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has postponed the written competitive examination for 553 Group C posts under Advertisement No. 80/UKSSSC/2026 dated 31 August 2026. The posts are Computer Assistant, Senior Assistant/Assistant, Registration Clerk, Junior Assistant and others across Uttarakhand government departments. Applications for the recruitment were invited from 8 September to 7 October 2026.

The examination programme (No. 1652/Pariksha-Karyakram/2026-27 dated 25 August 2026) had proposed the written competitive examination for 15 November 2026. Following the Uttarakhand High Court, Nainital decision dated 6 October 2026 in Writ Petition No. 2464/2026 (on locomotor disability provisions for Spinal Deformity and Spinal Injury), the examination proposed for 15 November 2026 is postponed. The postponement notice is No. 2654/Adhiyachan/2026-27, dated 4 November 2026, signed by the Secretary, UKSSSC.
