Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has invited applications for one Postdoctoral Fellowship in Advanced Modelling, Digital Control, and Data Driven Methods for DC-DC Power Converters and Grid Synchronization at its Chennai campus in Tamil Nadu, with the Real-time Embedded Applications for Control and Technology (REACT) group.

Work

Research and development on advanced modelling and design of DC-DC converters, data-driven modelling and intelligent control of power electronic systems, PLL design and grid synchronisation for grid-connected converters, and AI/ML-based control, optimisation and fault diagnosis, with real-time implementation and industry collaboration opportunities. Desirable: small-signal modelling and stability analysis, digital control design, AI/ML for power converters, MATLAB/Python/C/C++ and embedded programming, and hardware prototyping and experimental validation.

Eligibility

A Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Control Systems and Signal Processing, or Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
