Forest Section Officer, 26 posts: Bachelor's degree in Botany/Forestry/Horticulture/Zoology/Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/Statistics/Geology/Agriculture or Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical/Civil), plus physical standards (men: minimum 163 cm height, 84 cm chest, 5 cm expansion; women: minimum 150 cm height, 79 cm chest, 5 cm expansion)
Pay scale: Rs. 32,670–101,970.
Fee and age
Fee: Rs. 250 processing fee + Rs. 120 examination fee = Rs. 370. The Rs. 120 examination fee is exempted for SC, ST, BC and Ex-Servicemen, families holding a Household Supply White Card (AP residents) and unemployed youth per G.O.Ms.No.439 dated 18/10/1996, so those candidates pay Rs. 250. Out-of-state candidates in those categories are not exempt and pay Rs. 370.
Age: 18–30 years.

Selection is by written examination (online CBRT). The examination date is not fixed in the notification and will be intimated on the APPSC website.
