CSIR CECRI Walk in 2026 for 5 Addendum Posts

Addendum walk-in

CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute, Karaikudi, has issued an addendum dated 29 October 2026 to its Notification No. PS-10/2026 (dated 24 October 2026, walk-in interview for engagement of project personnel on a temporary basis, CSIR-CECRI Karaikudi and CECRI Mandapam Unit). The addendum adds 5 posts for project GAP 25/26: Senior Project Associate (SPA) 1, Project Associate-I (PAT-I) 2, Project Assistant-II (PA-II) 2. Note: the main notification alone contains more than 5 posts, so the 5-post count is the addendum's, not the main notice's. All other terms of PS-10/2026 remain unchanged. No fee was stated in the documents checked.

Posts, pay and qualification

Senior Project Associate: PhD in Chemistry/Chemical Sciences and Technology with 2 years R&D, OR M.E./M.Tech in Nanoscience and Technology with 2 years R&D; desirable electrochemistry/electrochemical energy; max age 40; Rs. 42,000 + HRA. Project Associate-I: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, OR M.Sc. in Chemistry; max age 35; Rs. 25,000 + HRA. Project Assistant-II: 3 years Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering; max age 35; Rs. 20,000 + HRA. General terms of the main notice: selection on the basis of desirable qualification/experience and related criteria; no TA/DA; tenure co-terminus with the project, initially six months/one year/project duration.

Interviews on 12 November 2026 and 13 November 2026 at CSIR-CECRI Karaikudi, reporting 08:30 AM; Chemistry on 12 November 2026 (Thursday) from 09:00 AM onwards; Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Chemical Science and Technology, and Nanoscience and Technology on 13 November 2026 (Friday) from 09:00 AM onwards.
