215 Assistant posts at Delhi University

The University of Delhi has advertised 215 Assistant posts (code ND0401) under Advertisement No. R&P/325/2026, dated 29 October 2026. The vacancy split is UR 164, SC 33, ST 18, with 01 HR PwBD (VI) post. The last date to apply is 19 November 2026, or within two weeks from the date of publication in Employment News, whichever is later.

Fee and exemption

The application fee is Rs. 1,000 for General/Unreserved, Rs. 800 for OBC (NCL), EWS and Female candidates, and Rs. 600 for SC, ST and PwBD candidates. Applicants who had already applied for Assistant under Advertisement R&P/311/2024 dated 12 December 2024 are exempt from the fee.

Eligibility and pay

Candidates need a Bachelor's Degree from a recognised Institute or University, two years' experience as Junior Assistant or in equivalent posts in a University, Research Establishment, Central or State Government, PSU or Autonomous Body (or an equivalent pay package in reputed private companies or corporate banks with a minimum annual turnover of at least Rs. 200 crores), speed in English Typing at 35 wpm or Hindi at 30 wpm, and proficiency in Computer Operations. The age limit is 32 years, and the pay is Pay Level-04 under the VII Central Pay Commission. Applications are made through the University website under "Work with DU".
