Employment notice

The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), Station HQ (ECHS Cell), Barnala, has issued an employment notice (Appendix 'A' refers to 501SU/1002/ECHS, dated 26 October 2026) inviting applications for Medical, Para Medical and Non Medical staff on contractual basis for one year for Ex-Servicemen and 11 months for civilian candidates, or till attaining maximum age, subject to performance and other conditions. Caveat: ECHS issues many separate regional polyclinic notices and the claim named no region; this Barnala/Chandimandir notice verifies that an official current ECHS Medical Officer notice exists, but it is not a single national notice.

Total 9 posts: Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Polyclinic (Graduate, 1, Rs. 95,000); Medical Officer (MBBS, 2, Rs. 95,000); Pharmacist (M Pharma/B Pharma from recognised Institute or 10+2 with science stream and approved diploma in pharmacy from an institute recognised by Pharmacy Council of India, 1, Rs. 36,500); Clerk (Graduate/Class I clerical trade (Armed Forces), 1, Rs. 29,200); Driver (8th Class/Class I MT driver (Armed Forces) possessing a Civil Driving License, 1, Rs. 26,500); Female Attendant (Literate, minimum 5 years' experience in Civil/Army Health Institute, 1, Rs. 21,800); Safaiwala (Literate, minimum 5 years' experience, 1, Rs. 21,800); Peon (Class 8th or GD trade Armed Forces, 1, Rs. 21,800). Preference to Ex-servicemen. No per-post age limit and no fee were stated in the notice beyond "till attaining maximum age".

Application as per the format on echs.gov.in, with self-attested photocopies of testimonials in support of educational qualifications and work experience, to be submitted to OIC, Stn HQs (ECHS Cell), Barnala, in duplicate. Last date of receipt: 20 November 2026; applications received after 20 November 2026 till cease-work (1430 hrs) will not be accepted. Interview: report at Air Force Station Barnala at 0900 Hrs on 25 November 2026; interview held between 1000 Hrs and 1400 Hrs.
