The Gujarat State AIDS Control Society (GSACS), under the National AIDS and STD Control Programme and as per the guidelines of NACO, New Delhi, has advertised a walk-in interview for the post of Deputy Director, Lab Services Division, on an 11-month contract basis with a monthly fixed salary, on a purely temporary basis. Qualification, experience and salary

Essential qualification: M.Sc. (Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or Life Sciences) or B.Tech (Biotechnology). Age limit: 50 years. Essential experience: 5 years of experience for candidates with M.Sc. or B.Tech in the above subjects, or 3 years of experience of working in a medical diagnostic laboratory for candidates with a PhD. Candidates with experience of working in accredited labs, or labs that have applied for accreditation, will be preferred. Desirable qualification: PhD (Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or Life Sciences). Salary: Rs. 50,680 per month. Selection is on the basis of merit of educational qualification and experience; all rights regarding the recruitment are reserved to GSACS.
