Stenographer Grade-I is on deputation (not direct recruitment), upper age 56 years, for officers holding a Stenographer post in Central/State Government, Union Territories, Public Sector Undertaking, Autonomous Body, or Central/State University on an analogous post on a regular basis or with ten years regular service in Pay Level 4 (7th CPC), Pay Level 06 (Rs. 35,400-1,12,400), deputation period 03 years. Technical Assistant (Electronics): upper age 27 years, B.E./B.Tech in Electronics or a Bachelor degree in Electronics with at least 55% marks or a 3-year Diploma (after 10th) approved by AICTE/recognised University/Institute with at least 60% marks in Electronics, Pay Level 05 (Rs. 29,200-92,300). Technical Assistant (Library): upper age 27 years, Bachelor degree in Library Science (B. Lib.) / Information Science / Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks, Pay Level 05 (Rs. 29,200-92,300). Assistant Professor Grade-II (Geophysics, APG2-103): upper age 35 years, Master's Degree in Geophysics with at least 60% marks plus three years research experience, Pay Level 10 (Rs. 56,100-1,77,500).

Mode: online applications through the IIG recruitment portal, plus hard copy by speed post; online portal opened 16 October 2026, online closing date 10 November 2026, hard-copy receipt deadline 16 November 2026 by 17:00 hrs. Selection: scrutiny/shortlisting by the Scrutiny/Short listed Committee, with screening test / trade-based test / written test / skill test and interview at the Institute's discretion; only shortlisted candidates are called.
