Jadavpur University has invited offline applications for 1 Finance Officer post (UR) under Employment Notification No. A2/C/4/2026 dated 3 November 2026. This is a continuation of Advertisement No. A2/C/02/2025 dated 12 November 2025 — candidates who applied against the earlier advertisement need not apply again, but may update their information.

Eligibility

Uniformly good academic record with a Master's Degree in Commerce/Finance with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade, AND Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant or equivalent professional qualification, OR a Master's Degree in Business Administration with specialisation in Finance; AND 15 years' working experience in management of finance in a Government / University / Institute of Higher Learning / Commercial Establishment, of which 5 years must be in a higher administrative post involving supervision, control, planning and administration.

Age and pay

Age: not less than 40 years, relaxable for exceptionally qualified candidates. No upper age limit is stated in the notification. Pay: Rs. 1,44,200 at Pay Level 14 (Rs. 1,44,200 – 2,18,200).

Fee

Fee: Rs. 500 (US $50 or rupee equivalent for Indian citizens staying outside). No category-wise fee split is stated in the notice.
