Eligibility

Assistant Professor: 2nd Class Bachelor's (at least 55%) and 2nd Class Master's (at least 55%) in the concerned subject, NET with one publication in a NAAS-rated journal (PhD holders exempt from NET under the stated conditions). Associate Professor: the same Bachelor's/Master's 55% requirement, PhD in the concerned subject, and minimum 8 years' experience (excluding the PhD period) in teaching/research/extension in the Assistant Professor cadre (Level 10/11/12).

Pay, fee and selection

Assistant Professor: Cell-1, Level-10, Rs. 57,700 plus DA and other allowances. Associate Professor: Cell-1, Level-13A, Rs. 1,31,400 plus DA and other allowances. Retirement age 60. The fee (non-refundable) is Rs. 700 for Assistant Professor and Rs. 1,000 for Associate Professor, payable in favour of Comptroller, OUAT, Bhubaneswar-751003 (SBI, OUAT Campus Branch, A/c No. 10173711536, IFSC SBIN0003341, via Green Channel Counter / Internet Banking / RTGS). Selection is by written test and interview for Assistant Professor, and interview only for Associate Professor, at Bhubaneswar.
