Pay and fee

Principal Project Associate Rs. 49,000 consolidated + HRA; Research Scientist Rs. 37,000 + HRA; Research Associate Rs. 32,000 + HRA; Research Fellow Rs. 29,000 + HRA; Geospatial Assistant Rs. 60,000 + HRA; Project Assistant Rs. 27,000 + HRA. The fee (non-refundable, by DD/online in favour of Director, PRSC, payable at Ludhiana) is Rs. 2,000 for Principal Project Associate and Geospatial Assistant, Rs. 1,500 for Research Scientist, Research Associate and Research Fellow, and Rs. 1,000 for Jr. Research Fellow and Project Assistant.

Eligibility

First Class Bachelor's and First Class Postgraduate degree in the relevant Science/Engineering/Agriculture/Remote Sensing/GIS subjects, with experience varying by post. Principal Project Associate: 4 years' RS/GIS experience for PhD holders, 8 years for Master's holders. Research Scientist: Doctorate. Geospatial Assistant: 4 years' experience. Project Assistant: Bachelor's degree / 3-year Diploma in Science/Engineering/Agriculture/Geography and 5 years' experience.
