Eligibility and pay

Officer posts require a Graduate or Post Graduate degree, with MBA/CA/ICWA accepted for Accounts Officer and MBA (Material Management) for Purchase & Stores Officer, plus supervisory experience ranging from 2 to 10 years depending on the qualification. Junior Personal Assistant requires 12th pass with dictation at 80 words per minute and transcription in 50 minutes (English) or 65 minutes (Hindi). Technical Assistant requires a First Class Diploma (3 years) in the relevant discipline plus 2 years' post-qualification experience, and Technician 'B' requires Matriculation/SSLC plus 2 years' ITI (NCVT) or NAC/NTC, plus 2 years' post-qualification experience. Pay is Level-10 (Rs. 56,100–1,77,500) for officers, Level-7 for Technical Assistant, Level-4 (Rs. 25,500–81,100) for Junior Personal Assistant and Level-3 (Rs. 21,700–69,100) for Technician 'B'.

Fee

There is a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 600 for all posts, plus an application fee by group: Group A officer posts Rs. 900 (total Rs. 1,500), Group B Technical Assistant Rs. 700 (total Rs. 1,300) and Group C Junior Personal Assistant and Technician 'B' Rs. 600 (total Rs. 1,200). The application fee is refunded to exempt-category candidates (Women, SC/ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen) who appear in the computer-based test. The fee is payable after submitting the application, any day before the last date.

How the exam works

A candidate may apply for both Technician 'B' (any one of the 12 trades) and Technical Assistant (any one of the 11 disciplines), with separate applications and a separate fee for each post.
