UP Anganwadi Hardoi Worker and Sahayika Recruitment 2026 — 644 posts

The District Programme Officer, Hardoi, Child Development Department, Uttar Pradesh, has invited online applications for 644 Anganwadi posts under one notice dated 4 November 2026: Anganwadi Karyakartri (Worker) 329 posts and Anganwadi Sahayika (Helper) 315 posts, spread across 20 Child Development Projects in the district. The recruitment is under Government Order No. 1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025 (1917687) dated 17 September 2025. Applications are online only, from 6 November 2026 to 26 November 2026 up to midnight, through the UP Anganwadi Bharti portal. Offline forms are not accepted in any case.

Who can apply

Only women can apply. The minimum qualification is Intermediate or equivalent, and merit is prepared on qualifications up to Postgraduate. The applicant must be a permanent resident of the same Gram Sabha (rural) or ward (urban) as the Anganwadi centre she applies for. Age must be 18 to 35 years as on 1 July 2026, and the date of birth is taken only from the High School marksheet or certificate. The income limit is Rs. 46,080 per year for rural families and Rs. 56,460 per year for urban families. Income, caste and residence certificates must be issued online by the Tehsil with a digital signature and must be verifiable online.

Selection

Selection is merit-based, with a preference order within the same Gram Sabha or ward: widow from a BPL family first, then divorced or abandoned BPL women, then BPL women, then widow APL, then divorced or abandoned APL, and then APL women on merit.

Fee and pay

No application fee is mentioned in the notice, and no pay or honorarium amount is stated in the notice. Anganwadi posts are honorarium-based; candidates should check the official notice for the terms of engagement.
