About this engagement

Pearson Memorial Hospital, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan, has invited applications from Indian citizens, preferably residing in West Bengal, for the contractual engagement of 1 Radiologist at Pearson Memorial Hospital. The application, in the prescribed format in Annexure-I, should reach the office of the Chief Medical Officer, Pearson Memorial Hospital, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan, before 5:00 PM on 20 November 2026. The engagement is purely on contract, initially for six months from joining, or until a regular candidate joins, whichever is earlier; it may be extended from time to time if the Authority is satisfied and the post is not filled by a permanent candidate. The contract is terminable at any time on either side by giving at least 15 days' notice. The work is part-time, for a session of 3 hours daily for 6 days in a week, as assigned by the Authority.

Qualification and remuneration

Age: not exceeding 45 years. Essential qualifications: (a) MBBS from any recognised University; (b) MD in Radio Diagnosis or equivalent from any recognised Medical Institute; (c) permanent registration with the West Bengal Medical Council. Desirable: minimum 1 year of experience after passing the MD or equivalent examination. The consolidated remuneration or consultation fee is Rs. 75,000 per month. There is no claim or right for regular engagement, and no entitlement to Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Attendance treatment, Seniority, Promotion, or Dearness Allowance or other allowances like HRA, TA, LTC or Leave Encashment.
