ISRO Assistant JPA Result 2026 Shortlist for Skill Test

About this shortlist

The Indian Space Research Organisation has published the list of candidates shortlisted for the skill test, based on the computer based test conducted on 21 September 2026, for the posts of Assistant, Junior Personal Assistant, Upper Division Clerk and Stenographer. This is a shortlist, not a final result: candidates named in the zone-wise lists move to the skill test stage, and the final selection depends on the stages that follow.

How the lists are published

The lists are published zone-wise for Assistant and Junior Personal Assistant, on ISRO's careers page and the detailed recruitment page for this advertisement. There is no single combined result PDF to search: you must open the list for your own zone and search it for your roll number. Each zone's list carries its own instructions, so read your zone's document in full rather than assuming another zone's schedule applies to you.

Skill test date

The skill test is scheduled for 1 November 2026, as stated on ISRO's careers page. Individual zones may give their own reporting times and venue or document verification instructions within their zone lists, so confirm those details from your own zone's PDF and keep the originals and copies of your documents ready as instructed there.

Vacancies in this advertisement

The advertisement gives post-wise vacancies rather than a single printed grand total. Adding the post-wise figures in the official advertisement gives 244: Assistant 113, Junior Personal Assistant 81, Upper Division Clerk 22, Stenographer 10, Assistant for autonomous institutions 17, and Junior Personal Assistant for an autonomous institution 1. Some news reports have quoted 242; the official advertisement's own post-wise figures add up to 244, and that is the figure used here.

How to check your shortlist status

Visit ISRO's careers page, open the detailed page for Advertisement ISRO:ICRB:01(A-JPA):2026, and find the shortlist entry for your zone and post. Download your zone's PDF and search it for your roll number. If your roll number is listed, follow the skill test and document instructions given in that same document. If it is not listed, this stage of this recruitment is closed for you.
