The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) has invited applications for 7 posts on deputation — Director 1, Secretary 1, General Manager 2 and Deputy General Manager 3 — under a circular dated 03 October 2026, advertised in Employment News 03.10.2026–09.10.2026. The last date, originally 30 days from the Employment News publication, was extended by addendum Ref. No. APEDA/85/2024-O/o DGM(RA) dated 30 October 2026 to 02 December 2026. The age limit is a maximum of 56 years as on the closing date. No application fee is stated in the circular. Eligibility (deputation)

Director: an Organized Group 'A' Services officer holding an analogous post or with 5 years in Pay Level 12, or a General Manager or Secretary of APEDA with 5 years' service. Secretary: an Organized Group 'A' officer holding an analogous post or with 5 years in Pay Level 11, or a Deputy General Manager of APEDA with 5 years' service. General Manager and Deputy General Manager: officers of the Central or State Government, UT Administration, PSU, University, recognised research institution, semi-Government, autonomous body or statutory organisation holding analogous posts or with 5 years in Pay Level 11 (General Manager) or Pay Level 10 (Deputy General Manager), plus a postgraduate degree in the specified agriculture, horticulture, food, foreign trade or finance fields and 5 years' experience. The pay is: Director Level 13 Rs. 1,23,100–2,15,900; Secretary and General Manager Level 12 Rs. 78,800–2,09,200; Deputy General Manager Level 11 Rs. 67,700–2,08,700.
