The State Bank of India (SBI) has invited online applications for 6 Specialist Cadre Officer posts in AI roles on a fixed term (Advt. CRPD/SCO/2026-27/30) — GM & Chief AI Officer 1, DGM (Risk and Operational Analytics) 1, DGM (AI Governance and Compliance) 1, DGM (Data Engineering, Model Application Dev and AI Ops) 1, AI Solution Architect 1 and Enterprise AI Architect 1, all UR. Apply from 19 October 2026 to 09 November 2026. The appointment is for a 3-year fixed term, renewable for 2 more years, with posting in Mumbai or anywhere in India.

Fee

The fee is Rs. 750 for General, EWS and OBC candidates; SC/ST/PwBD candidates pay nothing.

Eligibility, age and pay

GM and DGM posts need a B.E., B.Tech or M.Tech in CS, IT, Electronics, Electrical & Electronics or ECE or equivalent, or an M.Sc (Statistics or Computer Science), MA (Statistics), M.Stat or MCA; GM needs 15 or more years of experience (3 or more years in senior leadership in AI) and DGM needs 10 or more years. Enterprise AI Architect needs a Bachelor's or Master's in CS, IT, Engineering, Data Science or AI with 8 years' experience (3 years in enterprise, platform, data or AI architecture). The age limits are: GM & Chief AI Officer 40–55, DGMs 35–50, AI Solution Architect and Enterprise AI Architect 30–45. The annual CTC upper range is: GM Rs. 160 lakh, DGMs Rs. 120 lakh, Architects Rs. 90 lakh.
