Assistant Statistical Officer, 196 posts: Bachelor's degree with Statistics as a main subject (or with Mathematics/Economics/Commerce/Computer Science with Statistics as a paper)
Pay scale: Rs. 37,640–115,500.
Fee and age
Fee: Rs. 250 processing fee + Rs. 120 examination fee = Rs. 370. The Rs. 120 examination fee is exempted for SC, ST, BC and Ex-Servicemen, families holding a Household Supply White Card (AP residents) and unemployed youth per G.O.Ms.No.439 dated 18/10/1996, so those candidates pay Rs. 250. Out-of-state candidates in those categories are not exempt and pay Rs. 370.
Age: 18–44 years.

Selection is by written examination (online CBRT). The examination date is not fixed in the notification and will be intimated on the APPSC website.
