SSC GD Constable Result 2026 Out: PET/PST Shortlist and Cut-Off

SSC GD 2026 result declared

The Staff Selection Commission declared the result of the Constable (GD) in CAPFs and SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026 on 12 October 2026. The computer-based exam was held from 27 April to 30 May 2026, and 21,56,776 candidates appeared.

Candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST):

The forces covered are BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, Assam Rifles and SSF.

Minimum qualifying marks

To be considered at all, candidates needed (before NCC bonus):

SC, ST, ESM	20%

Actual cut-offs are much higher and differ by state, category and area (general, border, or naxal/militancy affected). They are listed state-wise in Annexure-I (female) and Annexure-II (male) of the result notice. For example, the SSF (All-India, male) UR cut-off is 146.17817 normalised marks.

NCC bonus marks

NCC certificate holders got bonus marks provisionally: 'C' certificate 8 marks, 'B' 4.8 marks, 'A' 3.2 marks. Ex-servicemen do not get NCC bonus. You must produce the original certificate later.

Category shown as UR? Read this

Many SC, ST, OBC, EWS and ESM candidates qualified at the UR standard, so the first lists showed their category as UR. On 23 October 2026 SSC uploaded revised List-I and List-II showing both the category you applied under and the category you were considered in. Nothing else in the result has changed.

What happens next: PET/PST

• PET/PST will be conducted by the CAPFs. Call letters will be issued by the nodal force, CRPF, so keep checking rect.crpf.gov.in.
• Final answer keys, question papers with responses, and the marks of all candidates will be released on ssc.gov.in later, in the candidate login.
• The results of 60 candidates (List-III) plus 3 others under court cases are withheld, and 88 debarred candidates' results were not processed.

Start running and practise the long jump and high jump now if you haven't already. The PET is qualifying, but many candidates are eliminated there.
