Assam Skill University has invited applications for 1 Guest Faculty post in the Department of Food Technology under Ref. ASU/GuestFaculty/2026/209 dated 3 November 2026 (Detailed Walk-in Interview Notice). The post is purely temporary, for a duration of four months. Walk-in interview on 13 November 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Guest House, Assam Skill University Campus, Mangaldai (Bidyanagar, Mangaldai, Darrang, Assam). Eligibility

M.E/M.Tech/M.S./Integrated M.Tech./M.Sc./Integrated M.Sc./M.Voc in Food Technology / Food Processing / Food Engineering / Dairy Technology / Chemical Engineering / Post-harvest Engineering / Food Science & Nutrition, or a Master's Degree in relevant disciplines, with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point-scale) from an Indian or recognised foreign university on full-time regular mode. Also stated: PhD in any one of the above relevant disciplines or qualified NET in the relevant subject. UGC/AICTE/NCTE regulations are applicable; 5% marks relaxation (55% to 50%) at Bachelor's and/or Master's level for SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and Differently-abled candidates.

Pay and age

Pay: Rs. 1,500 per lecture, maximum Rs. 40,000 per month; Guest Faculty already employed in a government institution: Rs. 800 per lecture, maximum Rs. 40,000 per month. No other allowances. No TA/DA. No age limit is stated in the notice.
