CSIR–National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL), Bengaluru, has invited candidates for walk-in interviews for 46 Project Staff posts across 13 roles, under Advertisement No. 15/2026/PS dated 5 November 2026. The engagement is temporary and contractual, co-terminus with the project, with a maximum of 6 years in total in CSIR.

Eligibility

Project Associate-I: Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology (or equivalent); the Metallurgical post also accepts a Master's or Integrated Master's. Project Associate-II: Bachelor's plus 2 years of R&D experience in industrial, academic or science and technology institutions, OR a Master's or Integrated Master's. Project Assistant-I (Fitter): SSC/10th plus ITI (Fitter). Project Assistant-II: B.Sc. or a 3-year Diploma in Engineering or Technology. NET/GATE variants apply as shown in the post table above.

Age

35 years for all posts except Senior Project Associate, for which the age limit is 40 years. Relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST, PwBD and women, and 3 years for OBC. Qualification and age are counted as on the date of the walk-in interview. No minimum age is stated.

Fee

Report at the RAB Meeting Complex, CSIR-NAL, adjacent to the SBI NAL Branch, Kodihalli, Bengaluru 560017, between 9.00 and 9.30 AM for registration and document verification on your post's walk-in date — no registration after 9:45 AM. Carry the prescribed application form, Aadhaar or photo ID, original documents and one set of photocopies. A separate application is needed for each post. Do not send applications by post, speed post or email — walk-in only. No TA/DA is payable. Results will be published on www.nal.res.in, and the panel is valid for one year.
