No. NF (06)/Contract/2026 dated 4 November 2026: Counsellor (1 post, UR) and Junior Engineer (Civil) (1 post, OBC). Selection is by walk-in interview on 16 November 2026 — reporting at 9:30 AM, interview from 10:00 AM — in the Meeting Room, Administrative Block, IISER Mohali, Sector-81, S. A. S. Posts on offer

Counsellor (Post Code 601), 1 post, UR: consolidated pay Rs. 67,000 per month. Candidates need a Master's degree with at least 50% marks in Psychology (Clinical or Counselling) or Social Work (Medical and Psychiatric) with practical experience, plus 5 years of counselling experience with students on academic, psychosocial and emotional issues in a reputed academic institute or organisation.

Junior Engineer (Civil) (Post Code 602), 1 post, OBC: consolidated pay Rs. 55,000 per month. Candidates need a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, first class, with at least 5 years of field experience in civil works (construction, maintenance or renovation of building projects), or a Diploma in Civil Engineering, first class, with at least 8 years of field experience. Experience in organisations or firms dealing with works as per CPWD, PWD or Government norms is preferred. The OBC-NCL certificate must have been issued within 2 years of the last date of receipt of application, in the Government of India format.

Terms of engagement

Both posts are on contract. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the walk-in, and no other allowance or incentive is payable. The service is terminable on notice of at least 15 days on either side, and carries no benefit, compensation, absorption or regularisation. No age limit is stated in the notice.
