The District Health & Family Welfare Samiti, Jhargram (West Bengal) has invited online applications for 33 contractual posts under NHM/RBSK — Medical Officer-AYUSH (Male) 8, Medical Officer-AYUSH (Female) 11, Pharmacist 12 and Staff Nurse 2 — under Memo No. DH&FWS/JGM/2026/1899 dated 30 October 2026. The last date of registration and payment is midnight of 18 November 2026, and the last date of final submission is midnight of 19 November 2026.

Fee

The fee is Rs. 100 for General candidates and Rs. 50 for reserved-category candidates, online only, non-refundable.

Eligibility, age and pay

Medical Officer-AYUSH needs a BHMS, BAMS or BUMS degree from a recognised institution, with the compulsory internship completed and Council registration, and the candidate must be a West Bengal permanent resident able to read, write and speak Bengali (male applicants only for the male posts, female only for the female posts); an MD in Homeopathy, Ayurvedic or Unani is preferred. Pharmacist needs a two-year Diploma in Pharmacy (D-Pharma, Allopathic) from a PCI/AICTE-approved institute, with registration with the West Bengal Pharmacy Council; B-Pharma or M-Pharma is preferred. Staff Nurse needs GNM training from an Indian Nursing Council-recognised institute, with registration with the West Bengal Nursing Council; clinical experience is preferred. The age limits (as on 01.01.2026) are: Medical Officer-AYUSH up to 40 years, Pharmacist 18–40 years, Staff Nurse up to 40 years, with age relaxation for reserved candidates per State Government norms. The consolidated pay is: Medical Officer-AYUSH Rs. 32,000 per month, Pharmacist Rs. 22,000 per month, Staff Nurse Rs. 25,000 per month, with increment per NHM Guidelines. Selection is academic (Staff Nurse: academic and experience), for full marks 100.
