87 teaching faculty posts on contract at ESIC Ranchi

The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Medical College and Hospital, Namkum, Ranchi, Jharkhand, has advertised 87 teaching faculty posts on a contract basis under Advertisement No. 07 of 2026, dated 27 October 2026: Professor 11, Associate Professor 19, Assistant Professor 16 and Senior Resident 41. The last date to apply is 02 November 2026, and the tentative interview is on 5th and 6th November 2026. The contract is for 1 year, extendable to a maximum of 3 years or until a regular incumbent joins.

Fee

The application fee is Rs. 500 for all categories except SC/ST/Female, Defence Ex-servicemen and PH candidates, who pay nothing. The fee is paid by Demand Draft in favour of "ESIC Saving Fund A/c No.-2", payable at Namkum, and submitted with the application form; once paid, it is not refunded.

Eligibility, age and pay

Eligibility follows the National Medical Commission (erstwhile MCI) guidelines dated 30 June 2025. The age limit as on the date of interview is not exceeding 69 years for Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor, and 45 years for Senior Resident, or 50 years for Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic Medicine and Community Medicine, with age relaxation per Government of India norms. The pay under the 7th CPC is Professor Rs. 1,23,100 (Level 13), Associate Professor Rs. 78,800 (Level 12), and Assistant Professor and Senior Resident Rs. 67,700 (Level 11), plus other allowances as applicable.
