80 apprentice posts at Narora Atomic Power Station

The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) has invited online applications for 80 apprentice posts at Narora Atomic Power Station (NAPS) under Advertisement No. NAPS/HRM/APPRENTICE/02/2026: Trade Apprentice 50 (ITI Electrician 25, ITI Fitter 16, ITI Electronics Mechanic 9), Diploma Apprentice 16 (Mechanical 5, Electrical 3, Electronics 2, Civil 6) and Graduate Apprentice 14 (Mechanical 4, Electrical 3, Human Resources 3, Finance and Accounts 2, Contracts and Material Management 2). Online applications run from 29 October 2026 (10:00 hrs) to 18 November 2026 (16:00 hrs).

Eligibility

Candidates need an ITI in the relevant trade, a Diploma, or Graduation in the relevant discipline, on a full-time or regular basis, and must be Indian nationals above 18 years of age. Candidates who have already completed or undergone an apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, 1961 are not eligible. First preference is given to eligible local candidates living within 16 km of NAPS. The age limit as on 18 November 2026 is 18–24 years for Trade, 18–25 for Diploma and 18–26 for Graduate apprentices, with relaxations for SC/ST (up to 5 years), OBC (NCL) (up to 3 years) and PwBD (up to 10 years for General/EWS, 13 for OBC, 15 for SC/ST).

Stipend and fee

The monthly stipend is Rs. 10,560 for a 1-year ITI and Rs. 11,040 for a 2-year ITI (Trade), Rs. 10,900 for Diploma and Rs. 12,300 for Graduate apprentices, for a maximum duration of 12 months.
